The drunk driving charge against Bruce Springsteen has been dropped

The drunk driving charge against Bruce Springsteen was withdrawn. The facts date back to last November 14. During the hearing, Springsteen pleaded guilty to consuming alcohol in an area where it was forbidden to do so, but it was not possible to “bear the burden of proof” for the more serious charges. The alcohol test carried out on Springsteen – which had been stopped by the police while he was on his motorcycle – in fact gave a result below the maximum limit set.

Springsteen will still have to pay a $ 500 fine for drinking alcohol in a New Jersey national park. When asked in court how long he needed to have the amount available, he replied: “I think I can pay it immediately, Your Honor.” Due to the accusations that had been made against him, Jeep had announced the temporary withdrawal of the commercial in which Springsteen was the protagonist and which was made for the Super Bowl.
