M1 Mac users found their SSD to be overworked. May cause the device to crash faster

Many power users have reported that the M1’s SSD is overloaded. May cause the device to crash more quickly

Twitter user tweeted that the SSD on the Mac M1 was overloaded at one time. In some of the most severe cases SSD damage consumes 13% of the maximum warranty because SSDs are limited lifetime components. The harder it is used, the slower it will perform and the lower its performance, which can lead to file corruption.

Typical lifespan can last up to 10 years, but this issue can cut down to 2 years, and the Mac M1’s SSD is built into the board. If there is a problem, the whole machine must be replaced.

The reasons for this problem are still unclear. Maybe the M1 chip has too much Memory Swap and Ram, or it might just be a bug in macOS Big Sur, so we need to keep an eye on Apple for troubleshooting and update announcements.
