It was in the middle of the night from Tuesday to Wednesday and therefore under curfew in the Nîmes district of Montaury that the police intervened in a case of domestic violence. Following a drunken evening with friends, a man was hitting his wife as she tried to get him into their vehicle to return to their home.
A very eventful questioning
On the spot, thanks to a call to 17, the police then had to deal with a very violent man. While they were trying to put an end to the violence against the victim, the man attacked them by insulting them copiously, then hitting one of the policemen in the face and attempting to head twice in the face of a second officer who fell to the ground. During his handcuffing, the man rebelled again, injuring a third policeman in the shoulder and a student peacekeeper in the forehead.
He was eventually overpowered and placed in custody.
