The Ministry of Health and Population announced, on Tuesday, that 500 people recovered from the Coronavirus have been discharged from hospitals, after receiving the necessary medical care and recovery according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization, bringing the total of those recovering from the virus to 138,683 cases until today.
Dr. Khaled Mujahid, Assistant Minister of Health and Population for Information, Awareness and Community Communication, and the official spokesperson for the ministry, stated that 633 new cases that proved positive for laboratory analyzes of the virus were registered, as part of the necessary surveillance, investigation and examination procedures that the ministry conducts according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization, pointing to the death of 39 New condition.
Yesterday, the Ministry of Health recorded 623 new cases and 51 deaths.
Mujahid said that according to the recommendations of the World Health Organization issued on May 27, 2020, the disappearance of symptoms for 10 days after infection is an indication of the patient’s recovery from the Corona virus.
Mujahid stated that the total number that was registered in Egypt with the new Coronavirus until Tuesday, is 179,407 cases, including 138,683 cases that have been cured, and 10443 deaths.
The Ministry of Health and Population continues to raise its preparations in all governorates of the Republic, follow the situation first-hand regarding the “emerging corona” virus, and take all necessary preventive measures against any viruses or infectious diseases, and the ministry has also allocated a number of communication means to receive citizens’ inquiries about the emerging corona virus and infectious diseases. , Including the hotline “105”, “15335” and the WhatsApp number “01553105105”, in addition to the “Egypt Health” application available on phones.
