The Vita Club Salzburg as the operator of the fitness studio wants to prepare for a possible reopening in the coming months. From Monday to Friday, free quick tests are carried out in the Vita Club building – each afternoon. No registration is required. The fitness studio has set up a test road for this purpose and receives funding from the federal government.
The company primarily wants to address the employees of the companies along the Alpenstrasse, but also to offer a test location in the south of the city. The gym is currently buying the rapid tests for four euros. The test road is not a business area despite federal funding, emphasizes Vita Club managing director Christian Hörl, who is also the industry spokesman for fitness studios.
Ten euros allowance for each test
“The companies receive an expense allowance of ten euros for each test. This roughly covers the costs for material and personnel. If there is a very large number of people, the tests may cover the full costs, ”says Hörl.
With the test road, the Vita Club wants to take steps to open the fitness businesses that have been closed for months. The test road is linked to the federal platform, and those tested are informed of their results by SMS.
