Loan of Spanish works to museums in New York, Rome and Budapest

Valencia (Spain), Feb 23 (EFE) .- The loan of different works from the Spanish Museum of Fine Arts in Valencia for various temporary exhibitions at the Metropolitan Museum in New York, the Museum of Fine Arts in Budapest or the Scuderie is agreed. Quirinale in Rome, among other museum spaces.
14 requests for loans of works for temporary exhibitions arrived at the Museum of Fine Arts in Valencia (eastern Spain).
Among those requests, the transfer of the “Velázquez Self-portrait” to the Metropolitan Museum of New York in 2023 or the “Triptych of Expletives”, by Bosco, to the Museum of Fine Arts in Budapest in 2022.
In addition, “La Barca de Caronte”, by José Benlliure, will travel to the Scuderie del Quirinale in Rome, while different works by Sorolla were requested by the Sorolla Museum in Madrid.
