After a failed Australian tour (two matches, two defeats), David Goffin must put his tennis in the right direction this week in Montpellier (indoors and unfortunately behind closed doors). He is seeded nº2 of an Open Sud de France which posts a very nice field with Bautista-Agut (nº1), Sinner, Simon, Humbert, but also the ghosts Pouille, Tsonga and Murray!

David, have you ever turned the wrong Australian page?
It’s never cheerful to lose a first round having had four match points… It really stuck in my head. I remade the game a bit, wondering what I could have done better. But I left Melbourne the day after my defeat, to take a little rest in Belgium and take my mind off things. Here, we got back to work, always with Germain (Editor’s note: Gigounon, the coach) and Fabien (Bertrand, the physical trainer).
What do you expect from this Montpellier tournament where you have reached the semi-finals twice in five participations?
