On the 22nd, the Japan Volleyball Association announced 24 registered members of the 2021 Japan Women’s National Team. In addition to Sarina Koga (24) and captain Erika Araki (36), JT setter Aki Paddy (20), who won the Empress’s Cup and the league title this season, was elected for the first time. Twelve people who will participate in the Tokyo Olympics (Olympic Games) ahead of this summer will be decided from among these.
The women’s national team will hold a training camp at the Ajinomoto National Training Center (NTC) in Tokyo from next month, and will play a friendly match with China on May 1 at the Ariake Arena in Tokyo, which will also be used for this tournament.
