New York and California governors under fire

The governors Cuomo and Newsom were once considered successful counter-models to Trump’s systematic downplaying of the corona. But the luster has faded; both questions of character arise.

Gavin Newsom in Sacramento, the capital of California, and Andrew Cuomo in Albany, its counterpart in the state of New York, did not hesitate for a second to exploit the power of the state. At least the left-wing half of the American population hung on their lips and applauded.
