MEXICALI, BC, February 21, 2021.- As part of the State Advisory Program for Productive Reconversion, the Secretariat of the Field and Food Security (SCSA), invites the training “Intensive Handling of Nopal in the Mexicali Valley”, to be held this February 22 and 23.
The head of the SCSA, Héctor Haros Encinas, reported that the training is intended to provide adequate information on the agronomic activities required by the crop, for its good production.
On the other hand, the director of Advisory and Technical Accompaniment of SCSA, Germán Corrales Flores, indicated that the training will consist of 2 stages, one in the field and the other in theory; On February 22 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., the theoretical part of the training will be held in the Secretaries Room, where issues related to soil preparation, establishment and planting, fertilization, among others will be addressed .
While on Tuesday, February 23, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., tour of production units in the Mexicali Valley.
