Riyadh: Saudi Arabia is ready to implement localization in the areas of restaurants, cafes, hypermarkets and malls. Ahmed al-Raji, the Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, announced that the decision to localize jobs would be implemented soon. He said the aim was to localize all sectors and jobs that could be taken up by all the youth in the country.
In addition to contractors with the private sector, a study has been completed to ensure the job security and status of those working on company contracts in ministries and quasi-government institutions and to determine the minimum wage in such sector. Through the Saudiisation process for the year 2019-2020, 440,000 more citizens have found employment in various sectors. He added that the number of Saudi young people entering the labor market in January this year exceeded 28,000.
