Big fright this Sunday for a family from Meylan as well as for the police and firefighters who searched for several hours for a 12-year-old girl who disappeared while she was cycling on the path on the bank, in Grenoble, with his mother.

At the beginning of the afternoon, the two were heading towards Saint-Egrève when the mother’s bicycle burst, her daughter then continuing her journey. The first unable to find her daughter, she resolved to call for help shortly before 4 p.m. Extensive research was then launched throughout the area of the banks of the Isère between Grenoble and Saint-Egrève. The aquatic fire brigade was engaged, as well as drones to fly over the area. As concerns mounted among the search teams, a phone call came from Meylan at 5:50 p.m.: the girl had managed to get home by bike safe and sound.
