You were inspired by gripping stories, photos and videos – for example on Instagram. The online platform Airbnb has compiled a list of the photos of accommodations that were most liked in 2020. We introduce you to seven of the hottest Airbnb accommodations.
1. Stone house in France
This picturesque Stone house in Saint-Victor-la-Coste, a small community in the south of France, can be seen on Airbnb’s most popular Instagram post. More than 76,000 users liked the picture last year. The house is one of three accommodations at Chateau Saint-Victor-la-Coste – a 16th century castle.
The accommodation is suitable for two people and costs around 200 euros per night. There is one bedroom and one bathroom. The kitchen and living room are shared with the guests of the other two houses, as is the pool in the garden. Shops and restaurants are a few minutes’ walk away. One catch: there is no WiFi on site.

2. The best view of Quintay in Chile
This coastal retreat on Chile’s coast has received more than 67,000 likes on Instagram. No wonder, as the views of the Quintay coastline are breathtaking. The accommodation in the small fishing village is right on the water. Those who stay here fall asleep with the sound of the sea and wake up with the sound.
The modern Log cabin is small, for around 145 euros per night two guests get a bedroom and a bathroom. The property also has a small balcony that protrudes over the rugged cliffs. 3. Seeblick-Lodge in Guatemala
If we are talking about breathtaking views, this accommodation cannot be missing: the Seeblick-Lodge in San Marcos La Laguna in Guatemala. The glass lodge can look forward to more than 66,000 Instagram likes. It is located directly on Lake Atitlán, which was formed in a huge volcanic crater more than 80,000 years ago. Today the lake is surrounded by coffee fields and small villages – pure idyll!

Tucked away in the Vermont forests in the northeastern United States is exceptional accommodation. We’re talking about a glass one Glamping hut on a flower farm in the wilderness – more than 46,000 Instagram users liked the photo of the property.
In the minimalist hut you wake up to the sun shining through the meter-high treetops. An overnight stay for up to two people costs around 75 euros. Except for a large double bed, there is not much comfort. The toilet is an outhouse a few steps from the property.
5th school from the 19th century in the USA
Fancy a trip back in time? These old school in Kingston in the US state of New York makes it possible. The interior design in particular makes the accommodation from the 19th century an eye-catcher. The wooden floorboards and some pieces of furniture are original, there are also two wood stoves. More than 43,000 Instagram users like this.
The previous school is suitable for a stay of up to six people. There are three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a modern kitchen. On the two hectare property, guests can also look forward to a well-tended garden and – at least in the warmer months – a pool. The entire accommodation costs around 415 euros per night.

6. Window to the “Duomo” in Italy

7. Houseboat in Brazil
More than 41,000 Instagram users like this Houseboat in Joanópolis in the Brazilian state of São Paulo. Up to four guests can float on the water here while the Serra da Mantiqueira mountain range passes by on the horizon. An overnight stay costs around 180 euros.
The houseboat with a large terrace offers a bedroom, a living area with an integrated kitchen and fireplace, and a bathroom. The highlight: the clear starry sky in the spectacular nature of Brazil belongs (almost) only to you. A small campfire and a bottle of Brazilian wine make the evening perfect.
