‘E Sreedharan is best suited to be the Chief Minister’, Surendran said, adding that the decision on his candidature was with the Center

Kasargod: BJP state president K Surendran has said that the central leadership will decide whether he will contest the assembly elections or not. Those who have a chance of success in Manjeshwar will be considered. Manjeswaram was often unsuccessful due to last minute undercurrents. There are a lot of people in the party today who are likely to win locally. It will also consider and decide the candidate. In an exclusive interview with Asianet News ahead of Vijay Yatra, Surendran said that the BJP will have a strong presence in the Assembly elections this time.

E Sreedharan’s entry into the party was not sudden. For the past four months, there have been discussions with Sreedharan about joining the party. After that, the party informed the media about the issue of entry. He has been asked to contest in the Assembly elections. He also expressed interest. The constituency will also take into account his convenience and interests.

With the arrival of E Sreedharan, many are discussing joining the party. Surendran added that Sreedharan is qualified to be the Chief Minister and that Sreedharan is the best CM candidate the party can consider in Kerala.

The decision of the candidate in the Assembly elections will be taken only after the trip. After the trip, a decision will be taken whether Sobha Surendran will contest or not. It was Yogi Adityanath who restored peace and brought development in UP. He is the No. 1 Chief Minister of India, he added.
