A study, led by the School of Social Work of the University of Sherbrooke, seeks to develop knowledge on the links between masculinity and positive mental health (well-being) among men working in the agricultural sector.

It is Professor Philippe Roy, of the University of Sherbrooke, who is responsible for the research project which wants to highlight the positive points rather than the problems experienced by farmers.

Participation involves taking pictures of what positively contributes to mental health, in order to discuss it during two group meetings of 4 to 8 farmers. The group meetings last 90 to 120 minutes and they will take place by videoconference.

Participation is voluntary and confidential and financial compensation of $ 60 will be given as a contribution to the research project.
