The building from Husen, which is more than 220 years old, is in danger of falling into disrepair. Now it is being lovingly renovated. What treasures are still in the building and what the couple from Tilburg are up to.

Lichtenau-Husen. A cap covered in cobwebs still hangs in the kitchen on the wall of the old shepherd’s house in Husen. It belonged to the long deceased former owner Willi Schlüting. And much more in the house, built in 1797, reminds of the old shepherd. But the building, which has been vacant for ten years, threatens to decay. Hardly anyone in Husen expected that the old walls would come to life again …
