Lillard also mentioned that if Brandon Roy was not affected by injuries at that time, “he should be the number one star in team history.”
Although Roy has faded out of the NBA for many years, Lillard can still mention his name, showing his respect for the team’s history. Roy’s injury changed the fate of the pioneers, which in turn affected Lillard’s career path.
