Munich (dpa) – Bayern professional Thomas Müller has survived his corona infection according to his own statement. “I’m healthy again and I feel good,” said the 31-year-old in a video on Instagram on Thursday evening. The soccer world champion from 2014 tested positive a week ago at the Club World Cup in Qatar, had to fly to Munich separately from the team of the record champions and has been in domestic isolation ever since.

“Really exciting” are not to be told, said the Bayern vice-captain. He now has to wait “and be a little careful before moving on to harder training”. He said he had to wait a few more examinations for that, as there was still no new status. Once again, Müller, who said on Sunday that he was “going so far,” thanked him for the numerous recovery wishes.
