On Tuesday morning, a 77-year-old witnessed a man in Bernhardstalgasse in Vienna-Favoriten being dismantled bicycles from a bicycle stand and loaded them into a van. He noted the license plate number and reported the incident to the police station in Zohmanngasse.
It didn’t take the officers long to locate the license holder. The suspect, a 64-year-old Bosnian, immediately admitted to having stolen the bikes.
The officers seized five bicycles. The 64-year-old was provisionally arrested.
