Following a weight loss diet requires consistency and willpower.
Giving up on what we like best could make us unsatisfied, but with a little time we understand that losing weight with taste is absolutely possible.
Beyond the main meals, it happens that in mid-morning or mid-afternoon our tummy starts to grumble. Whether it’s a wolfish hunger or a simple desire to nibble on something, you shouldn’t overdo it so as not to spoil your appetite for the next meal.
So, what can we eat to fill ourselves (but not too much) and avoid too fatty and caloric foods? There are many alternatives to chips or chocolate ice cream but not everyone knows them.
Good and healthy hunger breaks for when you are on a diet
The first hunger breaker par excellence is the dried fruit. Almonds, cashews, hazelnuts, walnuts, pistachios and more. Dried fruit is renowned for its benefits for the body, but also for its goodness. Versatile in the kitchen, it can be used to prepare excellent dishes or to consume it as it is.
When at 11.00 the belly starts to throw a tantrum, 40 grams of almonds or cashews are the ideal snack. Among other things, there are practical packs of 40, 50 or 60 grams that can be easily purchased at the supermarket and ready to consume.
However, not everyone likes to eat just a small packet of cashews to get their fill, which is why here is an alternative. An alternative that combines both classic fruit and dried fruit.
A delicious variant of the classic snack
Eating is also a pleasure and therefore why not please both the throat and the sight.
We just have to take a 150-gram white or fruit yogurt and add what we like most … or almost. Adding a fruit of our choice cut into small pieces and a handful of chopped hazelnuts is the best solution. For example, you could think of half a kiwi and half a banana to mix in our yogurt together with a sprinkling of chopped almonds. And conclude with a pour of dark chocolate or honey that we prefer.
For those who love salty
But that’s not all. Those who love salty could opt for a snack different from the classics but good and low-calorie. A slice of wholemeal bread with a spoonful of milk flakes and turkey breast is the ideal hunger breaker. Especially recommended for those who practice sports and follow a predominantly protein diet.
Since good and healthy hunger breakers for dieting do they really exist?
