Before January, Christian Eriksen was having a difficult time at Inter Milan, following his £ 16.9 million move to the San Siro in January 2020.
The 103-game Danish international was struggling and had not scored or assisted a single goal for the Italian giants all season.
That led to talk of an outing for the 29-year-old.

Tutto Mercato Web claimed that a return to Tottenham could be on the cards as Eriksen sought to escape his Serie A nightmare.
In the same Tutto Mercato Web report, Everton is also mentioned as a potential destination for the former Ajax manager.
Now, however, Eriksen has started to turn things around in Milan.
He scored a wonderful free kick in the final stages of the Milan derby on January 26 to help Inter achieve a 2-1 victory over their arch rivals.

That genius seems to have given him the confidence to move on, with Antonio Conte now singing his praise to the media.
Tutto Mercato Web quotes the former Chelsea manager as saying: “As I said in the past, I think I needed some time to adapt and understand Italian football, which is not easy because it is very tactical.
‘Now he is also beginning to understand the language well, he is growing and it shows in the field. I can count on him and I’m more serene. ‘

It’s good to see Eriksen finally coming in handy for Inter after such a long period of mediocrity. Perhaps talking about a way out prompted him to change things.
Who knows, presumably Tottenham and Everton are still keeping an eye on him after his recent exploits.
However, in our opinion, its value will only continue to increase with each impressive display that Conte offers.
