The Consulate of Mexico in Austin, Texas, announced that it will not open its doors to the public on February 17 due to the low temperatures registered in the area.
Through its social networks, the consulate reported that they will not provide service and that if someone has an appointment, they will be rescheduled.
“Those people who had an appointment will be contacted to reschedule your visit“It was reported through a statement.
They also urged the community not to leave their homes if they do not have to carry out any necessary activity.
“We remind the community not to leave their homes Unless strictly necessary. If you find yourself having to drive a vehicle, you are urged to do so with extreme caution ”, they point out.
