Many screws that have not yet been turned in Vienna – New People’s Party Vienna calls for the abolition of the underground tax and the introduction of a fee brake
Vienna (OTS) – “It is important to do everything that secures jobs. Not only at the federal level, but above all in Vienna, ”said City Councilor Isabelle Jungnickel and Club Chairman Markus Wölbitsch about the labor market package presented today by the Vienna City Government. At the federal level, aid packages to safeguard jobs are constantly being put together, expanded, adapted and extended. Just today, Finance Minister Gernot Blümel presented help for indirectly affected companies as well as the application for the default bonus, which is possible from today. “But the Vienna city government is also called upon to invest heavily in labor market measures. With the focus on health and care professions, a right direction has been taken that must be maintained in the future. There is a lot of catching up to do here in Vienna, ”said Wölbitsch.
“As the new People’s Party of Vienna, we support every measure taken by the city that helps to save jobs and companies in our city. But there are still a lot of screws in the city that have not yet been turned. When, if not now, should companies be relieved of unnecessary fees and bureaucracy, ”said Jungnickel, who said that the previously announced measures did not go far enough. “Let’s finally pull the big levers to relieve the businesses in the city,” demands club chairman Wölbitsch, who also mentions the abolition of the subway tax and a brake on fees for Vienna. The instrument of the Beteiligungs-GmbH must also be professionalized and accelerated as quickly as possible in order to really secure jobs in the city.
