In an awareness post on its official page on the social networking platform “Facebook”, the Ministry of Health and Population directed 3 tips to take care of the elderly and support their mental health, in the context of confronting the emerging corona virus and raising awareness of its danger.
We offer you these tips as follows:
Pay attention to proper nutrition, by limiting the intake of foods high in fats, sugars and salt, and eating a lot of vegetables and fruits.
Permanent encouragement to exercise, as it improves physical fitness, maintains the mental abilities of the elderly, and increases their self-confidence.
Provide psychological support to the elderly, and help them overcome mood swings and depression.
