The fact that Italian health officials have classified homosexuals as a risk group for the novel coronavirus infection (Corona 19) is belatedly revealing controversy.

According to local media such as Mesazero in Japan on the 14th (local time), in a document on the guidelines for vaccination of Corona 19 published by the local health authorities in La Spezia, a city in Liguria in northwest Italy, homosexuals were classified as at risk of infection along with drug addicts and prostitutes. .

This document, written in October of last year, categorizes infection risk groups into 30 categories. La Spezia’s health authorities ranked homosexuals in the 10th order of infection risk group and described it as “subject to dangerous behavior”.

Sansa, the chairman of the Peruvian city council, disclosed the contents of the document on his Facebook page and criticized that “the link between homosexuality and the Corona 19 virus is a complete error.”

Responsibility for central ministries is also rising. As it became known that La Spezia’s health authorities referred to the guidelines on blood donation prepared by the Ministry of Health in 2018 when creating the guidelines in question.

On the controversy, La Spezia’s health officials bowed their heads as “an obvious mistake.” The Ministry of Health also announced that it would review and revise the wrong guidelines.
