While twin female volleyball players Lee Jae-young and Lee Da-young (Hungkuk Life Insurance) left the team, who were controversial over the’school violence controversy’, the Kia Motors advertisement, which the two appeared in, was turned to private.
Earlier, they appeared in the’Stinger Meister’ CF in August last year. The advertisement shows the two of them training together, starting with photos from childhood.
However, as suspicions of twin sisters’ school violence arose, Kia Motors switched the advertisement to private on its official YouTube channel.
In response to this, Kia Motors did not disclose a separate position other than placing an advertisement.
As the twin sisters have admitted to school violence in the past, advertisers can demand a penalty from them.
On the other hand, Heungkuk Life Insurance lost with a set score of 0-3 in an away game against Korea Expressway Corporation in the Dodram V League in 2020-21 season held at Gimcheon Gymnasium on the 11th. Heungkuk Life Insurance recently suffered three consecutive losses due to the defeat that day.
It is known that the twin players Lee Jae-young and Da-young Lee, who are not even sure whether they will return this season, have left the team’s accommodation on this day. The two players were also absent from the game that day.
After the game was over, coach Park Mi-hee showed a frustrated feeling. Manager Park said, “It is not a situation in which good performance can come out right now. It is important to overcome each game in one game. It will not be easy, but I will try to improve my performance.”
Regarding the twin sisters Lee Jae-young and Da-young Lee, “I only have to say that I am sorry. I feel a sense of responsibility because I am a player I manage. There is a little frustrating part because it affects the whole volleyball world, not personal work.”
Previously, Lee Jae-young and Da-young Lee apologized to the victims in connection with the controversy over the school violence the day before.
