NÜRNBERG / LÜLSFLED – After a fire, the large Franconian power plant had to be temporarily shut down. This also affected the district heating and sometimes even the hot water supply in the Nuremberg districts of Röthenbach and Gebersdorf.
With the current temperatures, with double-digit minus degrees at night, this is anything but pleasant for the around 15,000 residents and a remedy had to be found quickly.

The ÜZ Mainfranken also offered N-ERGIE their help and made their mobile heating center available. The so-called “hot mobile” has an output of 700 kW. Depending on the size and structure of the building, up to 100 residential units can be supplied with heat and hot water at the current temperatures.
There are times when it is simply a matter of sticking together! And the Franks stick together.
