(TELEMUNDO ATLANTA) .- This Thursday, Microsoft announced that it will make a significant expansion in the Atlanta metropolitan area.
Company president Brad Smith was in a meeting with Georgia business leaders, saying his plans include the purchase of 90 acres on the city’s west side.
Future installations would create thousands of jobs. Without giving too much detail, Smith explained that all Microsoft divisions would have workers in Atlanta.
Currently, the company has about 1,000 employees in the region, and expects an office to be operated in Alpharetta with sales directed towards corporations.
