Berlin. “Tatort” actor Ulrich Tukur keeps himself fit in the corona lockdown by climbing stairs. “I currently live in an old house with four meter high rooms on the fourth floor, and the elevator has been broken for months. Every day I have to go up and down with the dog a couple of times, ”said the 63-year-old Berliner by choice of the“ Neue Osnabrücker Zeitung ”(NOZ). “When I get to the top, I’m exhausted, this is my pandemic sport.”
Politics enacts many illogical rules
Initially, the lockdown also had positive sides for him, but now the situation feels like a “nightmare made of cotton wool”. Tukur criticized the current political decisions: “At some point you want to be active again and get involved in life, but that is denied to you by a policy that enacts many illogical rules and without necessity ruins livelihoods.”
In “Tatort” Tukur plays the Wiesbaden commissioner Felix Murot. He is also known to a wide audience from films such as “The Lives of Others” and “The White Ribbon”.
