MSN MESSENGER, THE ‘WHATSAPP DAD’
This online communication platform destroyed the monopoly of Terra and its chat in our country, almost everyone adopted Messenger to chat on the net. This MSN service can actually be considered the father of very important social networks today, such as Whatsapp, Line, Messenger o Telegram.
Although at the beginning only text could be sent, the tool incorporated emojis and functions such as’buzzing‘o la de draw in the text box. The iconic aesthetics of Messenger on our desk has been etched in the retina of millions of people in Spain. It ended up losing relevance over time due to the appearance of Tuenti, Facebook, etc … and Microsoft decided to say goodbye to the social network to focus its efforts on another with more possibilities: Skype.
