Hong Sang-soo’s new film’Introduction’ was officially invited to the 71st Berlin International Film Festival Competition.
On the 11th (Korean time), the Berlin International Film Festival introduced 15 films from 16 countries invited to the competition section through the official website.
Among them, the 25th new work by director Hong Sang-soo was included. Director Hong Sang-soo’s new title is’Introduction’, a work in which a young man Young-ho follows his journey to visit his father, lover, and mother through three paragraphs. Actors Shin Seok-ho, Park Miso, and Kim Min-hee appear.
The Berlin International Film Festival is called the world’s three largest film festivals along with the Cannes International Film Festival and the Venice International Film Festival. This is the fifth time that Hong Sang-soo entered the competition section of the Berlin Film Festival.
