The “Entreprendre pour savoir” adventure continues this year with a new mini-enterprise at the Clauzades college. This tool is produced by a federation of 17 associations law 1 901 offering activities recognized as “complementary to the school”.
Every year, each mini-business created by the students of the third must “start from zero” and therefore offer a new product. After the spreads, it is another “healthy” product, that is to say good for health, which will be offered with the support of the local Crédit Agricole bank.
“We had the choice between sweets or hamburgers… We very quickly opted for burgers” confides Amélie, third-grader and president of the mini-enterprise which also takes care of marketing. It is about offering something original, “homemade and without preservatives”. The eight pupils of the 3rd1 class take an active part in this adventure, both for the financial aspects and the “customer relationship”.
As the context does not allow us to offer burgers, it is the breads and sauces that will be sold in a box with original burger recipes to make yourself. So far, eight different bread recipes have been worked out on paper. As always, local suppliers will be favored. “You will need baker’s yeast, flour, powdered sugar, maybe milk… Everything will depend on the recipes we choose,” explains Léa, who takes care of the administrative aspect.
The recipes will be made after the holidays. “We and the students will taste the result and four recipes will be kept for marketing,” explains Ms. Lopes.
The context makes it impossible to sell the kits that the pupils will offer on the market. They have shown imagination with the creation of an ephemeral restaurant within the school on two occasions. Students also rely on social networks in addition to advertising posters that can be found on the premises of the college. Any profits will be donated to charities which, for the time being, have not yet been chosen.
