Creation of a high school mini-business, or when vocational baccalaureate students become real entrepreneurs, from theory to practice: the first trades class in commerce and sales at Lycée Olympe-de-Gouges is launched in the adventure of entrepreneurship by creating Seven Shop, a virtual store initially, which will market products bearing the image of the school (sweatshirts, masks, mugs, eco-cup…). The company will be headed by an association, Entreprendre pour learn.
These young future entrepreneurs have rubbed shoulders with the exercise of a job dating led by professionals to recruit the employees of their company and their directors. The young high school students worked on the logo, the search for suppliers, the negotiation of prices, a field survey to find out the expectations of their future customers, communication on social networks, the creation of a website, some steps they will have to put in place.
Tuesday February 9, strongly encouraged by Éric Soula, principal, and Vianney Guillemet, assistant principal, the student entrepreneurs presented their company, supervised by their teachers, Mmes Bois, Boesch Monier and Bosc and M. Aragon. The director of this company, Manon, presented the objective of this innovative project, as well as the various service directors who, themselves, introduced their collaborators. The high school students were just as enthusiastic as their teachers. Younés, commercial director, takes his role very seriously: “Thanks to this project, we are going to learn the trade, to trade, that allows us to progress.”. Leo: “It’s like in real life, you learn to sell properly.”. Théo: “It’s a new discovery, as if we were already working in a company. Thanks to this project, we will really acquire new skills.”
Thus, high school students, parents, friends and all those who wish will be able, when the time comes, to order the products offered by the young company.
