The draws for tennis players participating in the 2021 Australian Open have just ended. These draws foreshadow some really exciting matches. An example is that of the third strongest player in the world, Dominic Thiem who finds himself on the same side as Novak Djokovic in the semi-finals, but does not stop there.
In the upper part of the tournament there are also tennis players of the caliber of Zverev and Schwartzman. As for the world number two tennis player Rafael Nadal, we find Tsitsipas, Medvedev and Rublev this at least with regard to the draw for the tournament for men.
Mats Wilander has claimed that Roger Federer is now more likely to win a Grand Slam than Serena Williams. And the Swedish legend said the American superstar ‘messed up’ her best chance at winning her 24th title in the 2018 Wimbledon final when she had Meghan Markle in the crowd.

“She didn’t serve well for three years. It’s the most dominant weapon in tennis history. It’s not even the best serve on tour anymore and that’s a big deal because it would be like take the forehand from Rafael Nadal or the backhand from Novak Djokovic.
The serve must return for her to have a chance of winning. Without that, I can’t imagine her playing against these young players and crushing them physically and then turning them into a mental on the big points, ”explained Mats Wilander.
And the seven-time Grand Slam winner has said that unlike the Big Three in men, Williams is battling the next generation without any help as they seek to equal Margaret Court’s record.
“Women’s tennis has probably grown faster in recent years than men’s tennis,” he said. “With Roger Federer, Djokovic and Nadal, they’ve all taken out the rest of the field for so many years they feel like there’s a brick ceiling to be crossed.
But she was alone. It was impossible to hold them back alone. She needed Sharapova’s help, she needed her sister’s help. But she didn’t get help from any other player.
It was just her against a wave of youth. And it looks like they’re taking what Serena has done over the years and perfecting it and maybe they’re better than her. ”
