Anastasia Potafova, born in 2001, was the first to advance to the third round of women’s singles at the Australian Open tennis tournament.
Potafova defeated Timea Boobs with a set score of 2-0 in the second round of women’s singles on the third day of the tournament held in Melbourne, Australia on the 10th.
After passing both the first and second rounds with 2-0 wins, Potapova will compete with the winner of Serena Williams-Nina Stojanovic to advance to the round of 16.
