Koblenz (ots)
On Thursday, February 11th, 2021, the annual “Twitter storm” initiated by the professional fire brigades will take place. The aim of this campaign is to draw attention to the European Emergency Call Day. From 8 a.m., numerous fire brigades across Germany tweet their operations.
But we as the Koblenz Police Department are also using this day as an opportunity to send selected emergency calls that we receive under the hashtag # 10hPolizeiKo on our Twitter channel (https://www.twitter.com/polizei_KO) to publish. From 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., our social media team will take you with them and show you what operations our colleagues have to deal with in everyday police operations.
Some missions cannot be tweeted or can only be tweeted with a delay, for example if tactical disadvantages are to be feared or personal data has to be protected.
Whether a traffic accident, theft or strange situations – on this day we offer all interested parties the opportunity to take a look behind the scenes of our work.
