Kia, which recently changed both the company name and logo, has set a goal of releasing seven exclusive electric vehicles by 2026 and selling 1.6 million eco-friendly vehicles annually in 2030. Kia plans to sell 1.6 million electric and hybrid eco-friendly cars annually by 2030, increasing the proportion of eco-friendly cars to 40% of the total sales. Electric vehicles are expected to sell more than 880,000 units annually in 2030.
To this end, it plans to launch 7 exclusive electric vehicles by 2026, one year ahead of the previous plan, and build a full lineup of 11 electric vehicles along with 4 derivative electric vehicles. It announced that it will launch the first PBV model, PBV01 next year, and achieve 1 million units per year in 2030 to achieve the number 1 global sales in the PBV market. Kia set a goal to achieve a 3.7% global market share this year by selling 2.922,000 units in the global market this year, up 12% from last year.
