She follows Thomas Przybyla, who moved to Hanover. The Federal Police Directorate Koblenz is one of eleven directorates that report to the Federal Police Headquarters in Potsdam. As head of the authorities, Ms. Heuser reports to more than 2,300 employees who are responsible in the federal states of Rhineland-Palatinate, Hesse and Saarland. The 52-year-old is an experienced federal police officer. Most recently she was Vice President of the Federal Police Directorate responsible for North Rhine-Westphalia for many years. The area of responsibility of the Koblenz Federal Police Directorate is not unknown territory for the native of Lower Saxony. She knows this from previous management positions.
