The North Texas Food Banks will be distributing free pantries this week at some of the Dallas College campuses. In Fort Worth, the Tarrant Area Food Bank will continue its large-scale food delivery on Fridays and Catholic Charities will have mobile and fixed pantries where Dallas residents can request assistance.
The NTFB pantries will be distributed from Tuesday, February 9 to Friday, February 12 between the hours of 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The food bank will also have an event for people on foot on Friday, February 12 at El Alfarero Ministries from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. p.m

Tuesday, February 9 from 9 am to 12 pm
- Dallas College – Mountain View Campus, 4849 W Illinois Avenue en Dallas
- Dallas College – Eastfield Pleasant Grove Campus, 802 S. Buckner Blvd. en Dallas
Wednesday, February 10 from 9 am to 12 pm
- New Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, 2419 Metropolitan Avenue en Dallas
- Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ, 107 N. Elm en Leonard (10 a.m. a 12 p.m., evento para personas a pie)
Thursday, February 11 from 9 am to 12 pm
- Dallas College – Richland Campus, 2800 Abrams Road en Dallas
- Dallas College – Cedar Valley Campus, 3030 N Dallas Avenue en Lancaster

Catholic charities also has mobile pantries in Dallas. The February calendar can be viewed at this link. This week the mobile pantries will be from Monday 8 to Saturday 13 February between the hours of 9 am and 12:30 pm
There are also three fixed pantries who are on duty six days a week as reported by Catholic Charities. The food banks and their hours are:
Jan Pruitt Community Pantry, 123 Alexander Avenue, en Lancaster
- Tuesday to Thursday from 9 am to 1 pm, Friday from 1 pm to 5 pm, and Saturday from 9 am to 1 pm
Marillac Pantry, 2843 Lapsley St., en Dallas
- Tuesday and Friday from 10 am to 1 pm
Mockingbird Pantry at Our Lady of Perpetual Hope, 2517 Anson Road., en Dallas
- Monday and Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
The TAFB will have a large-scale distribution this Friday, February 12, from 10 am to 1 pm, according to a statement from the city of Fort Worth. This large-scale pantry will be repeated every Friday until May 21.
Food products will be delivered to Herman Clark Stadium, located at 5201 CA Roberson Blvd., in Fort Worth.
The food bank also distributes pantries Tuesday through Saturday by zip code at different locations and times throughout Tarrant County. The exact hours and locations of the TAFB mobile pantries can be found on your monthly distribution calendar or through your page Facebook.
