With volunteers from the volunteer fire brigade from the Rheydt, Neuwerk, Giesenkirchen, Rheindahlen and Wickrath units, two management services from the professional fire brigade and the information and communication group, the Mönchengladbach fire brigade got together with forces from the Viersen district and the City of Krefeld opened to Mülheim. At the request of the Düsseldorf district government, the forces are deployed to support the major fire in Mülheim-Speldorf.
