Citroen Berlingo van will be produced in Russia

Citroen announced that production of the second generation Citroen Berlingo van will start at the PSMA RUS plant in Kaluga in March.

The Russian version of Citroen Berlingo will be presented in two body lengths: standard (4380 mm) with a cargo compartment volume of 3.3 square meters and an extended (4628 mm) with a volume of 3.7 square meters. The loading height is 613 mm and the rear doors can be opened 180 degrees.

The long body version is additionally equipped with a right side sliding door. A van with a standard body can hold two Euro pallets 800 x 1,200 mm.

There are six floor anchoring rings for securing the weights. To protect the body from the inside and improve sound insulation on the car, an optional protection for the cargo compartment floor and internal wall and door cladding made of film-faced plywood are available.

The storage compartment has a glove box behind the dashboard, a transverse shelf above the driver and passenger, open compartments for small items and cup holders.

The range of engines includes the gasoline VTi115, which can run on the AI-92, and the diesel HDi90. Both engines are aggregated by a manual 5-speed gearbox.

The list of basic equipment Citroёn Berlingo includes front daytime running lights, central locking and remote control key, driver airbag, electronic brake force distribution, dynamic stabilization system, vehicle retention system when starting off a slope and engine crankcase.

Options and prices for the Russian market in Citroen promised to announce later.

Production started in Kaluga in autumn second generation Peugeot Partner vans… This generation of the model debuted back in 2008 and differed from its sister Citroen Berlingo only in design details and emblems.
