Revenue Dropped, Apple Will Stop Production of the iPhone 12 Mini 5G

CIREBONRAYA – Global sales iPhone 12 Mini, during 2020, accounted for only 6 percent of total revenue.

This condition then led to speculation from the US securities company JP Morgan that Apple may discontinue production of the iPhone 12 mini in the second quarter.

In fact, JP Morgan supply chain analyst William Yang said that Aplle recently cut its production forecast for the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Mini nine million and 11 million units, respectively.

Other analysts are now estimating Apple will increase production of the largest mobile phone in the iPhone 12 series, the iPhone 12 Pro Max, by 11 million units. That version sports a 6.7-inch screen and a 3687mAh battery

Even with poor sales, Apple still expected to release four new phones later this year.

The report says the tech giant may have to make some “optimizations” to improve performance and thus sales of iPhone mode with smaller screens for 2021.

Apple maybe have to think how can increase battery life smaller without enlarging device screen size.
