The South African artist shared a video of herself driving as she stepped out of the BMW Ballito sales store, after making her big purchase.
Nomcebo and Master KG are a few rare artists who have been able to make money in 2020, despite the restrictions linked to the Covid-19 pandemic. Their hit song Jerusalema has been traced across the globe and has sold millions of copies around the world, including in Italy, where it went double platinum. If Master KG took advantage of the fallout from Jerusalema, by buying a BMW 3 Series, worth 47,141 euros (around 32 million FCFA), in September 2020, it was around Nomcebo Zikode de s’ offer the same brand of car.
To celebrate her new mount, the South African artist, who is returning from a West African tour that took her to Burkina Faso and Ivory Coast, shared a video of herself taking drive out of the BMW Ballito sales store after making a big purchase. “Thanks to Smg Ballito and Nathy Ngubane for the natural and warm driving experience welcome to your dealership,” she wrote on Instagram.
Whoever coined the saying “delayed dreams are not rejected dreams” probably saw the Nomcebo Zikode story coming. The musician who was waiting for her big break finally got a taste of what celebrity is. His followers and industry colleagues flooded his Instagram comments section with congratulatory messages, adding that his new run suited him so well.
Nomcebo Zikode and Master KG had the chance to tour the world to enjoy their success from Jerusalema. The Ambassadors began their tour in November 2020 in Burkina Faso and will make their last stopover in Italy Town on September 30, 2021. They have also just celebrated an important milestone with their hit song Jerusalema, which has just reached the 330 million views on YouTube, one year after it was first published.
