Falling glaciers in the Himalayas in northern India caused massive avalanches and floods, killing or missing more than 200 people.
Indian media reported that on the morning of the morning of the 7th local time, a glacier fell from Mount Nandadebi on the Rishgangga Dam in Uttarakhand Province.
He also explained that the dam became useless because of the glaciers, and the rapid rapids swept around the dam.
Disaster authorities in India estimate that more than 200 people are missing, including workers in the construction of two hydroelectric power plants in Rishi River and residents of nearby villages.
Authorities said “we are concerned that almost all of the missing people have died.”
The Indian government is engaged in search and rescue operations with over 200 military and police disaster response teams on site.
