The dog’s name is Frankie and he’s a border collie who has thousands of followers on the internet. In the description he was presented as “the best dancing dog”. The video was uploaded to the personal Instagram account, BorderCollieFrankie, managed by the owner of the animal.
In the recording that has gone viral, Frankie is shown standing on two legs next to his owner and moving from side to side. In fact, they are both dancing to the rhythm of Disco Inferno, a popular song performed by the American band The Trammps. The woman even carries her pet and together they go for a walk, probably as part of the choreography.
This audiovisual material was initially published on the dog’s personal account. There it exceeded 1,000 reproductions. However, it was later shared by user AnimalsDoingThings (animals do things) and the dance has garnered more than 200,000 views.
