A new treatment developed by Tel Aviv’s Ichilov Hospital could offer hope to thousands of hospital patients with coronavirus. Officials at the medical center announced on Friday morning that the drug, named EXO-CD24, which is being tested in hospital, has shown promising results, with an estimated 96% effectiveness against Covid-19.IsraelValley questioned experts who told us all: “This treatment has not really worked. The study sample is too small ”.
According to (1): “The drug is designed to treat moderate and severe cases of coronavirus and is given to patients by inhalation directly into the lungs.
During the first stage of testing, 30 patients in severe or moderate condition received EXO-CD24 and were observed for changes in their condition.
Of the 30 subjects tested, 29 showed significant improvement within three to five days immediately after receiving the drug. The 30th subject also showed significant improvement, but after the initial five-day period ”.
