In Middelkerke (Belgium) during the last round of the Superprestige, Laurens Sweeck took the lead from the start of the race and kept his advantage until crossing the finish line. Michael Vanthourenhout, beaten by just one second, and Eli Iserbyt complete the podium.

Toon Aerts, yet in great difficulty in this race (6th), won the general classification of the Superprestige.

On the women’s side, Denise Betsema won with authority over her two biggest rivals Ceylin del Carmen Alvarado and recent world champion Lucinda Brand. The latter, occupying first place in the general classification before this eighth and final event, managed to stay ahead.
