As part of the activities carried out by the Secretary of Labor and Social Welfare of the State Government, that heads Esperanza Hernández Briceño, training was carried out for agricultural day laborers who will travel to Canada as part of the Seasonal Agricultural Workers Program (PTAT), in matters of protocols and prevention of Covid-19.
Sweet Campos Grimaldo, Director of Employment of the state agency, explained that as a result of the pandemic, Canadian agricultural centers implemented various protocols in order to prevent the spread of Covid-19, For this reason, it is necessary that the approximately 50 Colima residents who will move this time, know them.
He also explained that this talk was given to the workers who will travel in the months of February and March, since throughout the year various companies request temporary workers, who receive all the benefits established by the laws of both countries. This talk was held in collaboration with the National Employment Service.
