Indian vaccine to 7 Arab countries; 30 lakh dose for Saudi soon | UAE | Covid Vaccine | Covid19 | Gulf News | Gulf News | News from Middle East

Seven Arab countries, including the UAE, Bahrain, Oman and Kuwait, have received the Indian vaccine AstraZeneca. Other countries where the vaccine was given were Egypt, Algeria and Morocco.

The Serum Institute said the vaccine would soon reach 30 million doses in Saudi Arabia. The Saudi vaccine costs $ 5.25 a dose. Pfizer vaccine is being given in Saudi Arabia.

However, the injectors were informed that the second dose would be delayed due to lack of availability. Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia has approved two more vaccines, AstraSynica and Modena. The plan is to intensify vaccination once these become available.
