Who are the transferred patients
The transferred patients are people “Covid-19 hospitalized in medicine who are stable and who do not require intensive monitoring”, details Dr. François Goupil. A transfer that is done with their agreement. Five were on Friday, five more will be on Saturday.
“Eleven others could leave Monday if activity does not drop over the weekend”
In tension but not at saturation
The hospital is in tension but not at full capacity. These transfers are put in place to avoid it.
“We didn’t want to be in the situation of being overwhelmed.”
Transfers also put in place to avoid deprogramming.
Five caregivers from Nantes
In addition, five caregivers from Nantes will come and lend a hand to the Le Mans teams.
Solidarity between establishments to which the Le Mans hospital had already contributed during the first wave by welcoming patients from the east in particular.
